Market Definition: The fruit and veggie market is taken up be someone buy to buyers of fresh fruit and more fresh vegetables, including potatoes.

Fresh fruit includes items such as apples and pears, bananas, cherries, grapes, exotic fruits, rock fruits and citrus fruits. The vegetables sector comes with products such as salad fresh vegetables, potatoes, main vegetables, etc . This sector comprises organizations primarily engaged in retailing fruits and fresh vegetables.

The fruit and vegetable sector is highly decentralized in India. The varied agro-climatic areas and specific zones make it possible to grow almost all varieties of fruits and green vegetables in India.

India is the second largest producer of fresh vegetables on the globe (ranks subsequent to China) and accounts for about 15% of the world's production of vegetables and nearly 12% of universe fruit creation.

The fruits grown are clown, mango, citrus fruit, guava, grapes, apple and pineapple which will constituted nearly 80 per cent of the total fruit production in the country.
