Odd Strangeworth

Is everybody really the way they seem? in Shirley Jackson's short history " The Possibility Of Evil' The lady describes Ms. Strangeworth like a sweet kind old lady who just likes people in her town to be joyful. throughout the story Mrs. Strangeworth is nothing but a mean outdated lady who likes to damage others and sneaky the girl writes unknown letters to folks in her town. Her cruelty attacks the reader to keep reading. It is a very encouraging short tale that makes someone think about how the people you understand may be.

Ms. Strangeworth is sneaky and conniving this is certainly shown incidentally she examines her words. for example she doesn't use stationery which has the " strangeworth house” written on it instead she uses the colored conventional paper that is common in town. this displays the is in aiming to conceal her identity and it is important mainly because perhaps she feels that most likely what she is doing can be harmful in someway. Furthermore she " used a dull stud of the pencil and wrote in idiotic block produce. Ms. Strangeworth did all that so she wouldn't get caught writing the letters she had to disguise so the people she had written the albhabets to wouldn't get harm and didn't know she actually is a inappropriate woman. these are generally some examples of how manipulative the character is; how ever the worst is usually yet to come.

Throughout the story Ms. Strangeworth displays evilness and cruelty toward all of the people in her small community. All thoughout the story the girl shows evilness, she makes a decision to hurt them all together with the mean notification she create to people
